Woman stabbed to death in Sydney

A mother has been stabbed to death at a home in Sydney’s west, with her partner charged with the murder.

Emergency crews were called to a house on Grahame Avenue in Glenfield, just before 2am, following reports a person had been seriously injured.

Upon arrival, they found a 43-year-old woman with stab wounds.

Despite desperate attempts by paramedics, the mother-of-two died at the scene.

A 58-year-old man, who police say was the woman’s partner, was arrested at the home and taken to Campbelltown Police Station where he was charged with murder.

The man was refused bail to appear at Campbelltown Local Court today.
