Women hospitalised after Gold Coast ‘boating incident’

TWO women have been injured after a boat collided with a jetty at Surfers Paradise.

It’s understood the pair were travelling in the vessel just before 4pm on Wednesday when it came to a significant halt.

One woman was treated by paramedics for hip and facial injuries, whilst the other was treated for shoulder and facial injuries.

Both were taken to Pindara Private hospital for further treatment.

A Queensland Ambulance spokesperson confirmed the women were transported in a stable condition.
