Women hospitalised after separate crashes on Gold Coast

TWO women have been injured in two separate traffic crashes on the Gold Coast overnight.

The first accident happened just after 6.00pm, when a car smashed into a brick fence on Monaco Street in Broadbeach.

Luckily, the driver managed to escape with only minor injuries. She was taken to Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.


About two hours later, paramedics were called to Scarborough Street in Southport following reports of a single-vehicle crash.

A woman, whose age is not known, was treated at the scene for minror injuries.

She was also transported to Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
