The vibrant establishment will take up two floors and eventually have enough room for more than 500 patrons.
It’s the latest project of Gold Coast based Artesian Hospitality, whose portfolio also includes famous Surfers Paradise nightclubs Sin City, Bedroom and Havana.
Artesian Partner Matt Keegan said its new venue will be home to an elaborate waterfall bar feature along with extravagant 5.5 metre-high ceilings to accommodate established trees and lush greenery.
For those wanting a more private space, a staircase will lead guests to a decadent mezzanine floor within the venue complete with dining nooks and secluded seating.
“White Rhino set a new standard of service for Surfers Paradise,” Mr Keegan said.
“With its unique features, it will be a leading venue for dining and entertainment on the Gold Coast.”
“With an open-air outdoor garden feel that transitions seamlessly from outside to inside, guests will be able to enjoy the delights of the bar but also seriously good food.”
An award-winning internationally regarded restaurateur will create the menu and run the dining operation, which will feature a decadent breakfast menu, bar snacks, tapas and formal dining.
White Rhino is expected to start welcoming patrons in mid-October.
