Worker hurt after falling from tree on Gold Coast

A MAN has been hospitalised after falling out of a tree on the Gold Coast this morning.

It’s understood the man was working in the tree on Queen Street in Southport when he plummeted to the ground just after 8.30am.

At this stage, it’s not known exactly what caused the man to fall.

He was treated at the scene by paramedics for minor injuries before being taken to Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.

A Queensland Ambulance spokesperson said the fall is reported to be a workplace incident.
