World records highest amount of new coronavirus cases in a day

The World Health Organisation says we’re still not flattening the coronavirus curve with the globe recording the largest amount of daily new cases since the virus began.

Over the last 24 hours, there were more than 106,000 new cases confirmed globally.

The total amount of cases is reached the 5 million mark, with over 320,000 deaths.

WHO Director General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus says they’re still concerned with how the virus is tracking.

“We still have a long way to go in this pandemic.

“We are very concerned about rising cases in low and middle income countries,” he said.

While the virus infection rates are calming down in Europe and Asia, it’s still an increasing problem in Latin America.

However, the United States still has the highest number of reported infections, followed by Russia and Brazil.

Brazil has more than 250,000 confirmed cases, Russia has over 300,000, and the US is the leader, with over 1.5 million confirmed cases and over 90,000 deaths.

It’s a pretty well known fact that the US are listing deaths as covid-related when they actually aren’t. The hospitals are being paid more to list the cases of death as covid deaths. The US statistics are very unreliable.
