UPDATE: A YOUNG boy has died after he was critically injured on a construction site in Sydney’s south-west.
Initial inquiries suggest the eight-year-old boy playing on a pile of concrete slabs when they sipped and fell on top of him at a building site on George Rd at Leppington about 1.30pm AEDT.
Emergency services rushed to the scene and immediately started treating the unconscious eight-year-old.

He was rushed to Liverpool Hospital with critical injuries where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
Police will now prepare a report for the coroner.
EARLIER: A CHILD has been rushed to hospital in a critical condition following a horror accident at a NSW building site.
It’s understood the accident happened at Leppington, in Sydney’s south-west, shortly before 2.30pm AEDT.
The youngster has been rushed to Liverpool Hospital in a critical condition.
