During this time, it’s alleged approximately $200,000 worth of drugs including cannabis, methyl-amphetamine, MDMA and cocaine was seized.
One illicit drug laboratory and a sophisticated hydroponic cannabis growing system were also located and dismantled.
The operation consisted of more than 60 police officers from the State Drug Squad, South Eastern Region and other State Crime Command units.
“This has been a significant operation that will have a major impact on drug distribution networks operating on the Gold Coast,” Detective Superintendent Jon Wacker of State Crime Command’s Drug and Serious Crime Group said.
Investigations are continuing and will be ongoing with a number of further arrests expected to follow.
