13 people assessed after massive multi-vehicle crash on the M1
Six people have been hospitalised following a major, multi-vehicle crash on the M1 in Logan last night.
Emergency services were called to the M1 northbound, just before the Logan Motorway off-ramp, just after 6.00pm.
A total of 13 people were assessed at the scene, with six needing further treatment at hospitals.
They were taken to various hospitals around the South East.
A woman in her 60s was taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital for back, neck and shoulder pain.
Another female in 60s was taken to Logan Hospital with neck pain.
A woman in her 50s was taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital, along with another with minor injuries.
And a woman in her 20s and another patient were taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital with neck pain and minor injuries.
All patients are believed to be in a stable condition.
It’s unclear how many vehicles were involved in the collision.
