13 people still unaccounted for after Gold Coast Commonwealth Games

A number of Commonwealth Games fugitives are still on the run, almost a year and a half on from the Gold Coast event.

Over 200 athletes and officials tried to remain in Australia following the event on the Gold Coast early last year.

Around 230 lodged applications for protection visas.

It’s understood most of them had their asylum bids rejected by the federal government and have since launched appeals.

While, 13 people are still missing and unaccounted for.

Newscorp reports the whole situation is costing tax payers around $2 million while the matters go through the courts.

Nothing about the wages of people who weren’t paid when working at the Commonwealth Games. There’s still a lot of people who didn’t see their wages

2 million that could have gone to native aboriginal people. Who cares about foreigners, natives should come first.
