A 13-year-old girl is recovering in hospital after being hit by a car on Sydney’s lower north shore.
Police say that about 3.30pm yesterday, emergency services were called to the intersection of Eastern Valley Way and Edinburgh Road, Castlecrag, following reports a girl had been struck by a car.
It’s alleged a 13-year-old girl was crossing Eastern Valley Way when she was hit by a Jaguar XE.

She was treated at the scene by Paramedics before being transported to the Children’s Hospital at Randwick in a serious but stable condition.
The driver, a 58-year-old man, was taken to Royal North Shore Hospital for mandatory blood and urine testing.
Investigations are ongoing.
