15yo boy to be sentenced as adult over horror crash that killed mother
It has been revealed that a 15-year-old boy who crashed a stolen ute into an Adelaide mother’s car, killing her instantly, will be sentenced as an adult.
Mother of two Nicole Tucker died on October 6 2016, when a ute, being driven by the 15-year-old boy, ploughed into her vehicle in Bedford Park.
The teen pleaded guilty to causing death by dangerous driving in an Adelaide Youth Court in November last year.
In the same court today, the prosecution successfully made an application for the boy to be sentenced as an adult.
His long criminal history and the serious nature of the charges were taken into account.
