15yo opens fire at US high school, killing three students

Three students have been shot dead and at least six others injured, after a 15-year-old opened fire at a school in the United States.

A sophomore student launched the attack at Oxford High School near the city of Detroit in Michigan around lunchtime on Tuesday.

Police confronted the 15-year-old who was wielding a semi-automatic handgun and several clips.


The teen wasn’t injured and was taken into custody.

Local authorities have confirmed the deaths of three students, while six others, including a teacher, have been wounded.

The names of the victims are not yet known.
