A teenage boy has been stabbed to death in the middle of Brisbane overnight.
Emergency services were called to King George Square just after 8.00 pm, following reports of the incident.
It’s understood the 16-year-old was stabbed in the stomach near City Hall, before trying to walk away but collapsing at King George Square.

Police and then paramedics attempted to treat him at the scene before rushing him to the Royal Brisbane Hospital.
Despite desperate attempts, he passed away overnight.
Police are now trying to track down his attack, who’s believed to be known to him.
Investigators are now reviewing CCTV footage to try and track him down.
