Hundreds of Sydneysiders are flocking into Queensland ahead of tightening border restrictions tomorrow.
From 1.00am, all of Greater Sydney will be declared a hot spots for Queensland’s border restrictions, meaning anyone from there will be banned from entering the state.
While any returning Queenslanders will be forced into hotel quarantine for two weeks at their own expense if they come back.

Ahead of the 1.00am cut off, hundreds of people are making the mad dash north.
There are an additional 17 flights coming into Brisbane today alone, all flying in from Sydney. While seven flights are due to land on the Gold Coast.
Meantime, motorists are being reminded to update their border declaration passes ahead of tomorrow, with traffic delays expected to worsen overnight.
All NSW vehicles will have to be stopped over the weekend, with police ensuring no one has recently come from Sydney.
