17yo boy dies after being hit by car
A 17-year-old boy has died after being hit by a car in in Homebush Bay.
Just before 6pm yesterday, emergency services were called to Bennelong Parkway, following reports a pedestrian had been hit by a car.
The 17-year-old was rushed to Westmead Hospital in a critical condition however died a short time later.
The 17-year-old male driver of the car, a Toyota Corolla sedan, was not injured during the incident.
He was taken to hospital for mandatory testing.
A crime scene has been established and investigations are underway.
