17yo boy fighting for life after horror Logan crash

A 17-year-old boy is fighting for life in hospital after a horror crash in Logan this morning.

The teen was a passenger in a Toyota Celica coupe which lost control and slammed into a pole along Browns Plains Road in Crestmead around 4.00am on Thursday.

The boy suffered critical head injuries in the crash and was rushed to hospital.


The 19-year-old male driver was also transported to hospital but his injuries were non-life threatening.

Forensic Crash Unit investigators are appealing for anyone who witnessed the crash or any motorists with dashcam travelling on Browns Plains Road to contact police.
