17yo P-Plater killed after car crashes into tree

A 17-year-old girl has died in a horrifying crash in Ramornie, near Grafton last night.

About 6.40pm (Tuesday 1 September 2015), emergency services were called to Ramornie Station Road, following reports of a crash.

Initial investigations suggest a Toyota Rav4 was travelling on Ramornie Station Road, when it left the roadway and crashed into a tree.


The driver, a 17-year-old girl, died at the scene.

The passenger, an 18-year-old girl, was treated at the scene by Ambulance Paramedics before being taken to Grafton Base Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

No one else was injured during the incident.

A crime scene was established and investigations into the crash are continuing.
