French President Francois Hollande has confirmed there were 19 nationalities among the 129 victims of the deadly attack that took place in Paris on Friday night.
Speaking to the two chambers of parliament at Versailles, Mr Hollande said: “What was targeted by the terrorists, it’s the France open to the world.”
He added: “Dozens of foreign friends are among the victims, representing 19 nationalities.”

A grave Hollande said the attacks at bars, restaurants, a concert hall and the national stadium in the French capital “were acts of war”.
They “were decided and planned in Syria, prepared and organised in Belgium and perpetrated on our soil with French complicity”, he said.
In response to the attacks , Mr Hollande called for the UN Security Council meet to adopt a resolution to destroy the Islamic State.
He also said “France will intensify operations in Syria” a day after the French army conducted airstrikes at Raqqa, Syria.
