A man has died after being hit by a train on the Sunshine Coast.
Around 11.30pm last night, emergency crews were called to Mooloolah Railway Station after receiving reports a man had been struck.
It’s understood the man was hit by the train about 400 metres north of the station.

It was travelling towards Nambour at the time.
Police said the man was wearing a dressing gown, a leather hat and glasses when he was fatally struck.
The Forensic Crash Unit and Scenes of Crime are at the scene working to determine the man’s identity.
Any witnesses who may have seen the man in the area prior to the time of the incident is urged to contact police.
