P-plater busted drink driving in Sydney after doing burn outs
A p-plater has been busted drink driving after attracting attention to himself by doing burnouts on a suburban Sydney street.
The 26-year-old was pulled over by officers just after 10.30pm on Tuesday after they received reports of a Holden Commodore ute doing burn outs on Samantha Riley Drive and Glenhaven Road.
The man was subjected to a roadside breath test, which proved positive. He was arrested and taken to Castle Hill Police Station, where he underwent a breath analysis which returned a reading of 0.169.
The man was charged with drive with high range PCA, and not comply P1 licence conditions – no P plates.
His driver’s licence was also suspended.
