Teen charged over brutal stabbing at Sydney shopping centre

A teenager has been charged over the brutal stabbing of another teen at Bondi Junction yesterday.

Police said that just after 4.00pm, a 17-year-old boy was allegedly stabbed in the leg by a 16-year-old boy at a shopping centre car park.

The injured boy was rushed to St Vincent’s Hospital with a laceration to his left thigh.

The other teen was arrested and taken to Waverley Police Station where he was charged with reckless wounding.

He was granted strict conditional bail to appear at a Children’s Court on Monday 28 August.
