$2000 grants to create dream gardens around the Gold Coast
Gold Coast schools, youth groups and childcare centres could create their dream garden or outdoor classroom with the help of a $2,000 grant through the Yates Junior Landcare Grants for Gardens program.
Local groups on the Gold Coast only have to submit a design for their dream garden within their school grounds or community.
Yates and Junior Landcare are looking for imagination – with veggie gardens, butterfly gardens, bush tucker and sensory gardens just some of the projects that have been funded through the program in the past.
15 grants valued at $2,000 each are available for schools, youth groups and childcare centres, who will benefit from $1,500 in funding, $500 of Yates garden products and a growing consultation with a Yates gardening expert.
Applications close on Thursday 29 June. For more information, guidelines and criteria, and to submit an application, visit www.landcareaustralia.org.au/grants-for-gardens.
