200g of meth, stolen credit cards found in Gold Coast home

POLICE have allegedly uncovered 200 grams of crystal meth while raiding a home on the northern Gold Coast.

A man and a woman have been charged with a long list of offences after officers from the city’s Rapid Action Patrol squad raided their Olearia Street home at Coomera on Wednesday.

During the search, officers allegedly found a stash of drugs, including 200g of meth, 20ml of GHB, cannabis, restricted prescription medication, and drug utensils.


A stun gun, shotgun bullets, stolen credit cards and around $1300 in cash was also found at the home.

The man and woman, both aged 32, have each been charged with six counts of possessing dangerous drugs and two counts of possessing tainted property.

The couple has also been charged with possessing ammunition, drug utensils, a weapon and “a thing used in the commission of a drug offence”.

Both the man and woman are due to appear in Southport Magistrates Court on November 15.
