Over $200K worth of cannabis found growing in suburban Sydney home
A man has been charged after police discovered more than $200,000 worth of cannabis growing inside his suburban Sydney home.
About 4.40pm yesterday, officers executed a search warrant at the Banksia home, discovering an elaborate hydroponics setup.
Detectives seized 63 cannabis plants with an estimated street value of over $200,000.
The 54-year-old man was arrested at the home and charged with cultivate prohibited plant and use/consume/waste electricity without authority.
He is due to appear before Sutherland Local Court today.
