With the The Star Gold Coast Magic Millions Barrier Draw, Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale and The Star Gold Coast Magic Millions Raceday – there’s plenty to keep everyone entertained!

2021 The Star Gold Coast Barrier Draw
Tuesday 12 January, Surfers Paradise Foreshore

The Barrier Draw is a great Gold Coast spectacle, with thoroughbreds thundering along Surfers Paradise Beach in the early morning with Australia’s best jockeys on board.

It’s a total lottery, with the draw either making or breaking the race for $2 million The Star Gold Coast Magic Millions 2YO Classic and the $2 million Gold Coast Magic Millions 3YO Guineas.

So come on down to the Surfers Paradise Foreshore on Tuesday January 12 and bring the whole family, there’s even a breakfast market to enjoy while watching the sunrise over one of the Gold Coast’s magnificent beaches! Click here for more information.

2021 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale
Tuesday 12 January – Monday 18 January, Magic Millions Sales Complex, Bundall

What would Magic Millions be without the Yearling Sale? It’s the place to find the next big thing, with two of the highest stakes earners in Australian history – Winx and Redzel – coming from this sale.

From Tuesday January 12, more than 1,200 of Australasia’s very best yearlings go under the hammer over seven days of the auction sale

The sales are open to the public and free to attend. So come along and have a look – it’s a fascinating day out seeing yearlings in spectacular condition as well as watching the dynamics of the buying and selling in the auction ring.

Saturday 16 January, Aquis Park, Gold Coast Turf Club

The Star Gold Coast Magic Millions Raceday will take place on Saturday January 16 at Aquis Park.

With a massive $10.25 million up for grabs in prizemoney, it’s the race that stops the coast.

There are nine races on the card, including the $2M 2YO Classic and $2M 3YO Guineas plus $750,000 in Racing Women Bonuses. In fact, seven of the nine races are worth $1m or more in prizemoney
