A 20-year-old man has been arrested and charged over a shocking crash which claimed the life of a man in Wagga Wagga earlier this week.
Just after 10am on Monday, a Holden Commodore was travelling west on Coleman Street when it collided with a Ford Falcon ute, which was conducting a u-turn.
The driver of the ute, a 53-year-old man, was rushed to Wagga Wagga Hospital but died a short time later.

The three people inside the Commodore, including the 20-year-old driver, and two 19-year-old passengers, were also taken to Wagga Wagga Hospital for treatment to minor injuries.
Following ongoing investigations into the fatal crash, police yesterday arrested the Holden Commodore driver and charged him with dangerous driving occasioning death; cause bodily harm by misconduct (x3); and negligent driving occasioning death (x1).
Police allege the Commodore was travelling at an excessive speed at the time of the crash.
The young man appeared at Wagga Wagga Local Court on Tuesday, where he was remanded in custody to reappear on Monday 8 January 2018.
