20yo man recovering from stabbing attack in Brisbane

A 20-year-old man is recovering in hospital this morning, after suffering stab wounds in Brisbane overnight.

A man allegedly forced entry into a home in Chermside around 7.30pm, grabbed a knife and stabbed the 20 year old man multiple times in the chest and shoulder.

The attacker then tried to flee the scene, though was stopped and arrested by police.


The two men, who are known to each other, were both taken to Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital for further treatment.

The victim is in a stable condition, and investigations are continuing.
