Police have seized drugs including over 2,500 MDMA tablets and 80 grams of ice, during a raid on a home in Brisbane yesterday.

About 2.00pm, Taskforce Maxima executed a search warrant at a residence in Stafford Heights.

When inside the home, police discovered a number of heat sealed plastic bags allegedly containing MDMA tablets as well as a mobile phone, documents and approximately 80grams of a substance believed to methylamphetamine.

“This is a significant mid-level seizure and it will disrupt the activities of the drug syndicate involved,” Detective Inspector Jason Gough said.

The tablets were all brown in colour and stamped with the ‘@’ symbol.

A 32-year-old Brisbane man, said to have been a close associate of members of the Hells Angels criminal motorcycle gang, was arrested at the home.

He has been charged with drug supply and possession charges and will appear in custody in the Brisbane Magistrates Court this morning.
