A young boy has miraculously escaped with only minor injuries after being hit by a car in the driveway of a unit block in Sydney’s inner west.
Emergency services raced to a complex on Hurlstone Avenue at Hurlstone Park around 3.00pm yesterday after receiving reports a child had been struck by a vehicle.
Police were told the four year old boy had been playing in the driveway of the unit block, when a woman allegedly turned into the driveway, and hit the boy.

The youngster was treated at the scene before being taken to Sydney Children’s Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
The driver, a 66-year-old woman, was also treated at the scene for shock.
An investigation is ongoing and the woman is currently assisting police with their inquiries.
