POLICE are investigating the theft of eight guns reported stolen from a farmhouse on the NSW Central Tablelands.
The firearms were stored in a safe which police say had been bolted to the floor inside a bedroom within the house at the rural property located off Dunville Loop Road at Dunville Lopp near Rylstone.
Officers have been told the locked safe was stolen during a break-in between Friday July 3 and Friday July 17.

Detectives from Mudgee Local Area Command are investigating.
