More than a week after the attack, the first person has died as a result of injuries sustained when a car ploughed through busy Melbourne streets.
He was one of the 18 people who was injured when Saeed Noori drove his white 4WD through the busy street.
The 83-year-old man passed away last night, six others are still recovering in hospital.

He is being remembered as a friend to all and a proud citizen of Australia.
Police originally charged Mr Noori with 18 counts of attempted murder and one count of endangering life and are expected to raise one of those charges to murder.
They said they’re still working on an extensive witness list before making any change or upgrade to charges.
