Presented by Arrowfield Stud, the filly from stakes winner Flame of Atlanta was knocked down to Prime Thoroughbred’s Joe O’Neill for $280,000.

“She was a stand out filly today who has a lot going for her,” O’Neill said.

“She has a lovely hindquarter and if she does the right thing on the track she will develop into an outstanding broodmare of the future,” he added.

A half sister to this season’s Coolmore Stud Stakes runner-up Not Listenin’tome, the filly is the fourth foal of the stakes winning and group performed Encosta de Lago mare Flame of Sydney.

The top price for a colt came when the Mane Lodge colt by I Am Invincible from Snippety Day sold to Magic Millions as agent for a local stable for $160,000.

“We took more horses and naturally were concerned that this may skew the numbers,” Magic Millions Managing Director Vin Cox reported.

The 2014 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale and Carnival will conclude tomorrow with a final smaller yearling session followed up a popular racehorse sale.
