A goat’s adventures on the Gold Coast

Once upon a time in the suburb of Coomera,
There travelled a homeless goat called Uma.
He decided to roam around many a home,
So myGC’s gone and written a (pretty average) poem.

The trouble was for the adventurous farm animal,
Trying to settle down seemed extremely irrational.
‘On the run since Thursday’ was mentioned,
And now the little goat is gaining unwanted attention.

Smelling some grass, and skipping down streets,
Does not always get you the friendly greets.
Locals swooped, and the little goat dodged,
Cars swerved, and complaints were lodged.

Council sent staff to rescue the ba-ba-baddy,
To see if they could reunite him with daddy.
While on his travels, he suffered a leg injury,
So he’ll be treated and cared for, in a local victory.

So thanks to the residents, who made absolutely sure,
This cute little goat didn’t get too sore.
Three Council catchers, and locals put in help,
And cute little Uma, didn’t even yelp.

The end.
