The Gold Coast Suns will be without midfielder Aaron Hall for their opening AFL clash later this month after suffering a finger injury.
It’s believed he suffered the injury in the JLT2 game against Brisbane Lions on Sunday but didn’t realise the extent of the injury until earlier this week.
“Aaron Hall presented with some pain after the game on Sunday, we had that assessed by our medical team to consider some options,” General Manager Football Operations, Jon Haines said.

“The preferred option was to have some fairly simple surgery”
“Aaron will miss Round 1, but be available for Round 2.”
The Gold Coast Suns open their season against North Melbourne on March 24 in Cairns.
