Tony Abbott has been given a slap on the wrist by the federal party president, Nick Greiner, for his recent comments about the direction of the Liberal party.
Greiner said the party will lose the next election if they don’t stop their infighting.
The former NSW premier is planning to speak to Abbott about his criticism about the direction of the Turnbull government.

“I think we have got to be adults about it,” Greiner said.
“I think everyone understands a Prime Minister who loses his position in the way it happened has all sorts of human emotions and has responded in a particular way which is very open and public.”
Greiner conceded the infighting was an issue for the Liberals.
