A woman’s accused of lighting a fire in a suburban backyard in Sydney.
Detectives arrested a woman on Tuesday and allege she lit a blaze in the yard of a home on Eighth Avenue in Carlingford on Saturday 19 November.
Two residents inside woke up and got out okay but the backyard and the rear of the home were damaged by the fire.

A 46-year-old woman is in custody and a search warrant executed at her home. Police seized several items for forensic analysis.
The woman was taken to Ryde Police Station and charged with intentionally recklessly damage / destroy property with intent to endanger life.
She was refused bail to appear at Burwood Local Court on Wednesday.
