One of the men accused of kidnapping a 12-year-old Gold Coast boy from out the front of his Mudgeeraba home has been released on bail.
A Magistrate at Southport Court agreed to release Yu Sunny Zhan on a $30,000 surety.
The 21-year-old must surrender his passport, report daily to police, stay more than 100m away from the child’s Mudgeeraba home and not contact his co-accused father.

Yu’s father, Zhen Jie Zhang, was refused bail last month and is also facing a raft of charges in relation to the kidnapping.
Police accuse the pair of snatching the 12-year-old boy as he walked home from school on May 11.
The 53-year-old was extradited from New South Wales last month and was charged with two counts of extortion, kidnapping for ransom, torture, deprivation of liberty and assault occasioning bodily harm.
Both Sunny Yu and Zhen Jie will return to court on August 28.
