A MAN who allegedly filmed a woman using a toilet at a shopping centre in Sydney’s west had allegedly been smoking crystal meth and had images of naked children on his mobile phone, police say.
The 22-year-old allegedly held his phone under the door of a cubicle that the 53-year-old woman was using at the Woodriff Street centre in Penrith and filmed her going to the toilet around 7.10am on Friday.
Startled, the woman confronted the man, who was then detained by security before police arrived.

The man was allegedly found to be in possession of a glass pipe used to smoke crystal meth, or ‘ice’.
He was arrested and taken to Penrith Police Station where officers allegedly discovered a cache of disturbing videos of women using public toilets at various locations.
Police allege child exploitation material was also found on the man’s phone.
The 22-year-old has since been charged with filming a person’s private parts without consent, filming a person in a private act without consent and two counts of possessing child abuse material.
He was also charged with possessing equipment used to administer a prohibited drug.
He was refused bail and due to appear in Parramatta Bail Court yesterday.
Police say investigations are continuing and more charges could be laid.
