Accused sexual predator found living in Nerang state forest

A GOLD Coast man accused of breaking into homes and sexually assaulting people has spent the night behind bars after being found camped out in the Nerang State Forest.

The 30-year-old man has been charged with with six break and enters and four sexual assaults which occurred in Eagleby and Pacific Pines during April.

His arrest came after worried Eagleby residents reported suspicious behaviour in the area and police made a public appeal for information.


The man was found living at a campsite in the Nerang forest reserve.

He will face the Beenleigh Magistrates Court today.
