Adam Scott well prepared for Australian Open

ADAM Scott will be hoping to make up for last year’s loss when he goes against Rory Mcilroy at the Australian Open in Sydney.

The Gold Coaster handed the victory to Mcilroy on the final hole last year.

But the world number three claims he’s prepared for today’s game, which begun early on Thursday morning at The Australian Golf Club.

While Scott says there will always be things he wish he could have done better throughout the year, overall he is satisfied with his efforts.

He will tee off just after 11am on Thursday morning, with rival Mcilroy’s Championship already underway after he teed off just after six on Thursday morning.

Meantime, veteran Stuart Appleby has pulled out of the Open due to a back injury.
