Aerial search for Australian man and mates missing at sea
A major search is underway off the coast of Papua New Guinea, after a fishing boat sank with four people on board, including one Australian.
The incident happened on Saturday night and a rescue helicopter was able to rescue one man.
He was taken to hospital and is being treated for hypothermia.
The other three men, including the Australian and two PNG nationals, remain missing.
They’re reported as being employees of accountancy firm KPMG.
The Australian Maritime Safety Authority has confirmed it is helping PNG authorities with aerial searches.
