The AFL has today announced the big artists set to headline the Pre-Game Show at the 2018 AFL Grand Final this month.
Legendary Australian rocker Jimmy Barnes and American RNB group The Black Eyed Peas will be sure to bring the house down when they take to the stage at the MCG on Saturday, September 29.
Featuring former The Voice coach will.i.am, apl.de.ap and Taboo, The Black Eyed Peas say they can’t wait to perform down under for the first time since 2009.

“Australia! We are honoured to be heading to Melbourne to perform at the AFL Grand Final Day,” the group said.
“This is the biggest day in Australian sport, so we will be pulling out all the stops for this special performance. See you soon!”
Barnesy, who will be joined on stage by Aussie singer-songwriter Diesel, will also be performing at the free post-game premiership party which kicks off at the MCG from 7.00pm.
“Looking forward to singing at one of the world’s greatest sporting events” Barnes said.
“It’s going to be a huge day on the ground at the MCG! It doesn’t get bigger than this – 100,000 passionate football fans and rock ‘n roll will be a great mix.”
Mahalia Barnes, who is Jimmy Barnes’ daughter, will perform the National Anthem before the bounce, AFL CEO Gillon McLachlan confirmed.
