IF you were hoping to get your hands on a ticket to the AFL Grand Final.. I’m afraid you’re too late.
Tickets to Saturday night’s historic clash went on sale at 9.00am (AEST) and were snapped up by keen fans in less than 20 minutes.
The cheapest tickets, going for $185, were sold out in less than 15 minutes. The more expensive tickets, which cost up to $420, sold out a short time later.

However, there could be a glimpse of hope for those who missed out with the AFL confirming more tickets may become available.
“Further tickets may become available as a result of unused allocations,” the AFL said in a statement.
“If available, tickets will be released via Ticketmaster at 12pm AEST, Thursday October 22.
“Tickets will be strictly limited and subject to availability.”
The capacity for the clash has been capped at 30,000 despite a desperate attempt by the league to have that number increased to 38,000.
