Arguably the two most disappointing teams so far this season will face off under the roof of Etihad Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
Following the shock win against Port, Carlton will head into this match favourites and full of confidence. Their performance against the Power at the MCG was the best brand of footy we have seen from the Blues all season. There was a new aggression that we have been yet to see out of Carlton this year. They were +5 in clearances, +15 in tackles, and beat Port in contested possessions. But this isn’t to say that we should write off the Suns just yet. Gold Coast will be fresh of the bye following a great performance against Fremantle at home. This will also see Gold Coast enter this match with a lot of confidence in the hope they can notch up their second win of the season.
