AFL trade reveals the future of some of the games biggest names

The first day of the AFL trade has thrown up some highballs and also stopped speculation about the future of some of the games biggest names.

Carlton’s Bryce Gibbs wants to head home to Adelaide after asking for a trade to join the Crows.

Gibbs is still under contract with the Blues and the club says discussions are ongoing.

Ty Vickery has officially joined Hawthorn, with Richmond choosing not to match The Hawks offer.

The Tigers are in talks with Geelong about Brett Deledio, who says he’s open to making the move.

And, Sydney midfielder Tom Mitchell has asked to be traded to Hawthorn.

The 23-year-old, who’s out of contract, had his best AFL season this year and has long been chased by the Hawks.
