Horror as Air Asia plane forced to turn around mid-flight
An Air Asia flight has been forced to make an emergency landing due to a “technical issue” with the plane.
Flight D7237 took off from Perth airport just before 7.00am enroute to Kuala Lumpur.
However only 1 hour and 15 minutes into the flight the plane encountered the terrifying “technical issue” and was forced to turn around.
Air Asia released a statement not long ago, confirming the incident.
“Air Asia confirms that flight D7327 bound for Kuala Lumpur from Perth with 359 passengers on board has returned to Perth Airport shortly after take off due to a technical reason,”
“The flight landed safely without any incident”.
The statement continued to say that passengers, who were understandably shaken up, were “being attended to by ground staff.”
