Air Asia X celebrates 10 years of flying to the Gold Coast

Today marks 10 years since AirAsia X introduced its first low-cost long-haul service between Malaysia and the Gold Coast.

In that time, the airline has delivered more than 2.4 million seats between the two destinations, as well as 400,000 seats between the Gold Coast and Auckland since March 2016.

To mark the occasion, an AirAsia X flight arriving at Gold Coast Airport this morning from Kuala Lumpur was greeted with a water cannon salute.
