Air Force Roulettes to zoom through the Gold Coast sky

It may be 30 years since Top Gun hit our screens, but we’re still feeling the ‘need for speed’.

Gold Coasters will look to the sky this weekend as the thunder of the Roulettes zoom overhead.

The Air Force’s renowned display team, known for their thrilling precision formation flying and intricate choreographed massed and individual aerobatics, will put on a show over the Gold Coast Marine Expo on Saturday and Sunday.

Locals will also get a chance to meet the Roulette members, who normally instruct Air Force’s Qualified Flying Instructors, at the Marine Expo.

The team will then move north with aerobatic displays over Caloundra, Bundaberg and over Maryborough.

The exciting Air Force Simulator Experience which puts you in the seat of flying an F/A-18F Super Hornet will be visiting selected schools as part of the tour of Queensland.
