Aldi issues urgent recall after metal shavings found in hot dog buns

ALDI has issued an urgent recall for a pack of hot dog rolls after metal shavings were found in the buns.

The NSW Food Authority said on Wednesday that metal shavings had been detected in the Bakers Life Hot Dog Rolls — 6 Pack which are sold at ALDI stores in NSW and the ACT.

Aldi said in a statement, “consumers should not consume this product”.

“ALDI takes product quality and safety seriously. Customers should return the product to the place of purchase for a full cash refund.”

“We apologise for any inconvenience.”
